With less than four weeks to go until opening, preparations are well underway at The Courtyard for its Youth Theatre performance of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
Lewis Carroll’s timeless children’s stories will be magically brought to life this Easter holiday as Alice falls down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. The amazing Lobster Quadrille, the Queen of Hearts’ infamous croquet match and the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party are just a few of the remarkable events and characters that will take to The Courtyard stage.
Ellen Dorsett, Youth and Communities Participation Manager, said: “Everyone involved with this production is working incredibly hard, especially the Youth Theatre and we would love for everyone to come and see our version of this treasured classic. It is a show for families to enjoy together with moments of laughter, madness, joy and so much more!”
There will be lots of activity taking place at The Courtyard alongside Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass with free pre show activities taking place before matinee shows and a Wonderland Hunt around the building. The Café Bar will also have a themed children’s menu alongside a Wonderland of cake for those who wish to dine before the show.
