It has been a very busy month for Monross this June, with runners taking part in several ‘big’ races.
Firstly, the Whole Earth Man versus Horse race was on Saturday, June 9th in Llanwrtyd Wells. A runner has not beaten the fastest horse since 2007, and this year the fastest runner narrowly missed out by only 25 seconds. Monross entered three relay teams.
The Monross mixed relay team, consisting of Luke Gray, Dan Gray and Alice Taylor, finished in 15th place overall and were the 1st mixed relay team to finish, with a time of 2hrs 50mins.
