Local horse rider Amberley Nash won a silver medal at the Dressage Championships of Great Britain, on Bank Holiday Monday.

Amberley, who has only just swapped over from riding ponies to horses in competition, came away from the event, held at Cricklands in Chepstow, with a silver medal in the 2' 9" horse section.

It capped off a great week for Amberley who collected her GCSE results last week and has been accepted into John Kyrle's Sixth Form.
