John Howard and Private Expresso are the National Schools Equestrian Association Grassroots Dressage Champions.

John and his horse, Private Expresso, known at home as Wedi, won the NSEA Grassroots intro dressage championships. This was held at Kings Equestrian Centre on December 1st.

John rode for his school Ashfield Park Primary, this was a particularly special win as this is his last year at the school and the first time the school has ever been represented at NSEA finals. John and Wedi have been partners since May 2018 and have been working towards the dressage finals since qualifying in March earlier this year. John is hoping to progress further with dressage as this is his favourite discipline, his role models are Carl Hester, Charlotte Dujardin and of course the wonderful horse Valegro.
