Ross Rowing Club’s junior rowers, their parents and coaches packed the Rowing Club last Friday for the Junior Awards Ceremony. It was standing room only as well-deserved awards were made to the category winners, and this was followed by supper and some riotous dancing.

The event was arranged by some students from Hereford Sixth Form College as part of their coursework. The result of their hard work was plain to see, as everyone, young and old, had a fabulous evening.

This was a welcome break from the winter training regime undertaken by these impressive young athletes who continue to perform well above expectations.

Local children in school years 7, 8 and 9 are encouraged to get involved with rowing and book a place on the next event which runs during the first week of Easter Holidays (April 10-14th April). Email [email protected]
