Ross Juniors had two mid week games recently and came away unbeaten. In the first after the highs of winning the cup, Ross were brought back to earth when they played Rosey. The game was played in atrocious conditions on a Wednesday evening.

After dominating the early stages, Ross fell behind when Rosey took the lead from a corner that was not defended well enough. These seemed to spur the home side on and stand in keeper Sam Loftus was called upon to make a number of crucial saves.

Ross were creating chances but found an inspired goalie denying them and the post and bar. Somewhat fortunately just before half time Ross equalised. A Rob McAfee long hopeful shot somehow slipped through the goalie's hands.

After the half time pep talk Ross looked fired up. But disaster struck early straight from the kick off and they fell behind again. It looked like it was not going to be their night when Rosey scored again in the 72nd minute to make it 3-1.

Still Ross battled and were creating chances. Finally in the 83rd minute Harry Hall scored with a great finish from the edge of the box. Ross threw everything at the home side as they defended in depth. Dramatically Ross found an equaliser in the 89th minute to make the score 3-3.

Incredibly Ross almost snatched a winner with the last kick of the match. This point could be crucial at the end of the season in their quest to win the league. The Eagle Inn man of the match was Tom Burford.
