Two Wood Open Singles Champion Harold Aubrey; runner-up Jeremy Watkins. Singles handicap Champion Tony Edwards; runner-up Peter Wright. Two Wood Pairs winners Tony Vitale & Glyn Williams; runners-up Brian Draper & Alun Hillier. Ladies’ Four Wood Pairs winners Gwen Lambert & Marcia Gwynne; runners-up Chris Edwards & Lynda Evans. Monday Triples league winners were Gwen Lambert, Tony Edwards, & Gerry Isaacs: runners-up Geoff Harnwell, Tony Beizsley & Stella Bufton. Friday evening Open Pairs league was won by ‘The Apple Crumbles’ Geoff Harnwell, Mary Gardner, Tony Edwards, reserve Roger Gwynne. Runners-up were ‘The Dead Woods’ Jeremy Watkins, Helen Harmes and Peter Wright; third place went to ‘The Chestnuts’ Steve Lambert, Irene Leake, & Tony Beizsley. Lynda Evans was Player of the Year and John Perks Club President was awarded the wooden Spoon along with a donation to the 2018, Club President’s Charity Fund. On the final game before the closing of the Green over 40 members took part in the Club Medley that was won by Harold Aubrey, Mike Baugh, Tony Beizsley, Brian Draper, Tony Gardner.
