This year Ross & District CC had 22 persons wanting to partake in their annual Boxing Day time trials this year.

Six Forest based riders turned up this year in better conditions than in recent years to contest the Walford – Lydbrook –Walford time trial including two in the colours of RDFCC.

Well done to Colin Parry (Lydney) for managing to embarrass everyone on his old winter hack bike, with lights, mudguards, a rack and saddlebag for his sandwiches. However, Colin powered home in first place in an impressive 25 minutes well clear of his nearest rival. Kerry Trigg impressed in the cold conditions finishing seventh fastest in 27m 43s.

The Streather Brothers, Jason and Jamie, finished in ninth and eleventh places in 28m 27s and 27m 55s respectively. Alan Jones made his customary appearance in this event recording a solid time of 31m 14s whilst Dale Reed recorded 33m 53s. Well done to eveyone for keeping this festive tradition alive.
