HEREFORDSHIRE Women's skipper Chloe Tingle proved tormentor in chief taking five wickets for 11 runs for Ross CC on Saturday, as they finished their Division 9 league campaign with a 10-wicket home walloping of Bartestree & Lugwardine 4ths.
The visitors were skittled out for 57 in 33 overs, Tingle sending the first five batters back to the pavilion as they collapsed to 22-6.
They reached the 50 mark with two wickets still intact, but Paul Franklin saw off the tail in short order, finishing with 3-12, Kiran Krishnan also taking one for no runs off four overs and Will Brookes 1-28-8.
Ross then just needed 5.1 overs to rocket to 58-0, Muhammed Noufal Fazaludeen cracking 32 not out off 16 balls, including two sixes and four fours, and Albert Johnson 16 not out, with the win seeing them finish third.
Goodrich had a much tighter win at Parkend, thwarting the Forest side's run chase by 17 runs.
Harry Porter with 42 and Andrew Brown shared a 104-run third-wicket stand to help the visitors to 182-8 off 40 overs.
And Jake Jarrett with three wickets, and Jack Lewis and Joe Provis with two apiece then helped dismiss Parkend for 165 with five balls to spare, with the win leaving Goodrich sixth in Gloucestershire 5.
The 2nds also sneaked home by two wickets and an over to spare at home to Parkend 2nds.
Charlie Scharneck cracked 107 for the visitors in their 207-7 off 40 overs, Goodrich’s Ralph Heaven Richards and Adam Kibble taking wicket braces.
And Jimmy Moreton with 56 not out, backed by Colin Walker with 45 and Joseph Griffiths 42 then saw the hosts to 211-8, leaving them second in Gloucestershire 9A.
Five wickets from Colin Reeves and three from Harrison Vickery helped Huntley dismiss visitors Bream for 148 in 37 overs.
And the Gloucestershire 7A table-toppers then raced to 152-2 in 23 overs, Charlie Gayther firing 77 and Harrison Vickery 58 in an unbeaten 140-run stand.
