Following a loss the previous week, the Goodrich ‘D’ie Hards bounced straight back on Monday, August 5th, when they went to Ledbury to play their ‘C’ team. First pair, Lisa and Rosemary, had a tough first rubber which went the distance, the first set going the way of Goodrich, 6-4. Then the momentum swung the way of Ledbury who took the second set 2-6. The third set was evenly balanced at 6-6, resulting in a tie-break to decide the set, and it was Lisa and Rosemary who were victorious.  Second pair, Debbie and Shani, a well established pairing, were able to win their first rubber, 7-5/7-5, enabling them to give some vocal support to Lisa and Rosemary.
