Hereford FC are delighted to have received the FA Charter Standard accreditation recently.The FA Charter Standard accreditation is awarded to clubs who are proud to be the places people want to play and enjoy their football. The programme aims to raise standards in grassroots football, support the development of clubs and leagues as well as to recognise and reward commitment and achievement.
Charter Standard Development Clubs commit to providing quality coaching in a safe fun and inclusive environment as well as a range of other criteria. In order to promote sustainability, clubs are required to complete annual health checks to maintain these high standards.
Joe Matthias Football Development Officer at the Herefordshire Football Association said “Hereford’s Charter Standard application was of the highest standard and we would like to congratulate them on achieving their Development Club Status.
“As part of the process the club have completed a thorough club development plan and Herefordshire FA look forward to supporting the club with this as they continue to grow and progress.”
Martin Watson, Hereford FC Club Secretary, said: “This award has taken a lot of work by a lot of people all around the club, from coaches and backroom staff to volunteers.”
