Ross Juniors Under 11 Royals dominated their game against Ledbury United from the off and opened the scoring when Ollie met Roo’s corner kick with a thumping header.

Joseph added a second goal when he won the ball in the midfield, held off the challenge from an opponent and slotted the ball past the Ledbury keeper.

A nice team move was finished off with a neat strike from Owen R into the bottom corner before JT added two quick goals with clinical finishes in off the post.

Ledbury pulled two late goals back, and missed a penalty, saved by Owen Way, to make it 5 – 2 at half time.

Ledbury improved after the break, but Josh soon stretched the home side’s lead when he intercepted a pass and raced through on goal and then Owen Way scored with a wonderful strike from distance.

Luca pulled off some fantastic saves in the Ross goal to deny Ledbury before Ollie completed the scoring, following up Owen R’s shot.

The Final score was Ross Royals 8, Ledbury United 2. The Royals’ man of the match was Ethan Morgan.

The Royals welcome Lads Club Galaxy to Wilton Road at noon on Saturday 21st.
