THE Daffs shared the points on the road at Alcester Town on Saturday after a 2-0 Hellenic One midweek win over Wellington.

Goals from Matt Nestorowski and Connor Wagstaff secured Tuesday night’s point at Wildsmith Meadow.

And they were hoping for another three at the weekend when Tiago Ribiero put Dylan Hart through on goal after 52 minutes, his shot hitting the post and Kyle Taylor following up to net the rebound.

But the Romans’ Will Skelton sped in on 70 minutes to fire into the bottom corner for 1-1 and that’s how it stayed.

The Daffs’ Development also won 3-2 at home to Bewdley Town 2nds in Alliance West at the weekend.

Elsewhere, Ruardean Hill Rangers won 2-1 at Broadwell Amateurs in the Les James Cup, an Ollie Mason free-kick deflected in for the opener and the second from a Max Telling headed corner before the break.

Broadwell pulled one back with ten minutes left from a free-kick, but Hill held on to make the semi-finals.

Lydbrook lost a 5-4 thriller at Painswick, Aaron Powell firing a brace and Ben Jones and James Mathews one apiece, while North Gloucestershire One rivals Mitcheldean lost 3-0 at home to Wickwar.

North Gloucestershire Premier leaders Huntley secured derby bragging rights 4-1 at Longhope, Lee James firing all four with Ian Lawrance hitting the consolation.

And Weston-based tablemates Howle Hill went through 3-1 in the Herefordshire Junior Cup away to Kington Town 2nds, Kristian Milnes with a brace and Joe Griffiths one.

But NG1 leaders Lydbrook 2nds suffered a shock 4-3 loss away to Mushet & Coalway 2nds, Jermaine Kijuu firing two and Mike Donaldson the other.

Ruardean United also lost 2-0 at home to Staunton & Corse 2nds, while Ruardean Hill 2nds were hammered 7-1 away to Harrow Hill 2nds.

But Ross Juniors enjoyed a 3-0 NG2 home win over Milkwall 2nds, Jamie Green with a brace backed by a Sam Thorne strike.

And Mitcheldean 2nds also won 3-2 at Rank Outsiders, Connor Dix, Daniel O’Moore and Gavin Smith their marksmen.

Ruardean Hill Rangers A high-fived it winning 5-1 at home to Alvington Star 2nds in NG3, Tommy Coleman scoring a brace, and Steve Coombs, Luke Johnson and Ryan Shinners one apiece.

But Longhope 2nds were beaten 5-0 away by English Bicknor 2nds.
