Last Saturday saw an entertaining end of season game between Ross Juniors under 15s and visitors from Kinver.

Both teams are shortly to go to Paris on a European tour, so the game was a good opportunity for the players to get to know each other. Ross-on-Wye and Kinver are well matched and while the first half was goalless, there was good attacking play and excellent defending from both sides.

Finally it was Kinver who broke the deadlock, but Ross equalised almost immediately through Joel. Although Owain and Wilf also found the net, Kinver were always in the lead and came out deserved winners 5:3.

The last few minutes saw a real end of season mood, with a fun kick-about with coaches, fans and even the occasional passer-by joining in. The Juniors travel with Kinver to Paris during half term where they will play in a French youth team tournament.
