The ladies of Goodrich Tennis Club kicked off the Winter season with a C v D local team derby match, on Sunday, October 15th, as they are both in Division 6 of the H & W Winter league.

Despite enjoying lots of social tennis together, it was time to put that aside, and the competitive nature shone through the match.

It was a very hard, but fairly fought match, and the C team came out winners in all four rubbers.

The D team competed with great determination and did manage to pick up a set. They hope to stay hot on the heels of the C team who are now top of Division 6 West.
