The Ross Juniors Men’s side started the season on a high with a 10 - 0 away win. They travelled to St Briavels expecting a tricky fixture with a few players missing.

Ross started the game on the front foot with the first goal coming after 10 minutes. Callum Trotman slotted the ball home after brilliant build up play from Callum McCulloch and Brad Wooding.

Soon after Brad went on to score the second goal of the game, with a perfectly weighted cross from Kristian Milnes. With Ross very much in control of the game Callum Trotman made it three, with good link up play from Brad Wooding and Luke Harris.

Daniel Lewis and Callum McCulloch had their passing on top form all game and Callum McCulloch took a pin point shot from outside the box to make it 4 - 0 before half time.

The second half kicked off with St Briavels trying to get into the game, but Ross was just outplaying them. Then Luke Harris went on a solo run from the wing to bag a goal for himself. Not long after Callum Trotman made it six-nil with his own well taken hat-trick. Ross made a change with half hour to go, Jon came on for Luke, Liam Parry went on a run and with the ball being passed between midfield and forwards with ease Callum McCulloch had his second goal of the game. Centre backs, Alex and Wes, were trying to get involved in the action and this paid off with Kristian Milnes getting a lucky deflection off the opponent’s defender to score.

With just five minutes left on the clock Lewis had a strike, after being set up by McCulloch to finish the scoreline at 10-0.

The whole team played well but Golf Sports Bar Man of the Match went to Callum Trotman and Callum McCulloch.
