The Bulls started much the better side with Mills going close inside the opening minute shooting wide.
Didcot then went close to taking the lead themselves just a minute later through Ben Whitehead, who found some space inside, before seeing his shot clip the post in a let off for the Bulls.
Hereford responded well with Haysham firing just over the bar, before Mike Symons had a goal ruled out for offside following some great link up play between Calvin Dinsley and Haysham.
Half an hour in and the hosts finally got a breakthrough. Molyneux produced some brilliant work down the right flank, passing up to Mills, who finished with a goal, to give Hereford the lead.
The Bulls continued to dominate proceedings and doubled their lead just six minutes later. Symons eventually tapped the ball home after Leigh Bedwell produced two fine saves to deny Mills and Molyneux.
Didcot worked to get them back in to the game with Andy Ballard heading over, but they struggled to keep possession with the Bulls pressing well.
The visitors started the second half all guns blazing forcing Horsell in to a decent save, before they were awarded a penalty after Ryan Green pulled down Whitehead.
The Didcot no 9 buried the penalty to give the visitors a lifeline, and with Green red carded by a referee, the hosts were down to ten men with another 40 minutes to hold out.
Despite being a man down, the Bulls looked well in control, dictating possession and continuing to press the visitors.
Haysham then had a great chance on 73 minutes with a decent run and shot, forcing Bedwell in to a decent save to deny the former Didcot man a goal against his former club.
Hereford kept the pressure up in search of a third goal that would kill the game, with Bedwell again producing saves from Symons and Plummer to keep the score at 2-1.
With just minutes on the clock, the Bulls were made to rue their missed chances as Didcot grabbed a late leveller. Bedwell fired in a free kick which was flicked on into the path of the unmarked Jordan Graham. Graham stretched out to edge his shot beyond Horsell and steal a point for the visitors.
