Ross Juniors Under 7s went to Fownhope, for a six-a-side tournament, on Saturday, June 18th. The team had high hopes for success and they didn’t come away disappointed.

In four games they scored 18 goals and conceded two, winning their age group outright. From the first game to the last, Ross always looked to attack and did so very well with excellent free-flowing football and some neat passes.

With Louis and Jessie linking up well all day, Jessie was finding a lot of assists coming his way from excellent wing play from Louis and Jessie’s finishing was top draw which saw him finish with seven goals.

Louis, who was having a great day, also found the back of the net with five goals of his own.

The key to Louis and Jessie’s recipe for success were the players behind them, with Finley, Harry, Sam and Jake winning tackles and working hard to set up the attacks with some great passes and runs. This also saw a couple of them chipping in with goals of their own, which was great to see. Ollie was also fantastic in goal when called upon.

Carl and Matt, the team’s coaches, are really looking forward to being part of the boys development next season and they both have high hopes for what the boys can achieve.
