ROSS Juniors Women made it four league wins from four beating fifth-placed Worcester visitors Nunnery Wood 4-1 at the Sports Centre on Sunday.
The fourth-placed hosts were rewarded after just seven minutes when Ella Jones' cutback found Lily Irving who coolly slotted home for 1-0.

A quick throw-in from Jones on 18 minutes then set Irving away, whose pinpoint cross picked out Lauren Creed who made no mistake smashing home the second.
And on 23 minutes, Creed produced some fantastic work to keep the ball in play before delivering an excellent cross, only for Irving’s effort to draw a brilliant save from the Wood keeper.

But five minutes later, they made it 3-0 when a calm touch and clever pass from Macy Walker found Millie Malsom, whose first-time ball caused chaos in the Wood defence, with the keeper's clearance falling to Jones, who produced a composed finish to score.
Right on half-time, Ross struck again, Keira Brain spotting Wood’s high line and sending a superb ball over the top for Malsom, who rounded the onrushing keeper to make it 4-0.

After the restart, Juniors continued to dictate play with slick passing football, but one lapse in concentration allowed Nunnery Wood to pull one back – a stunning 20-yard strike from Ruby Wood finding the top corner.
But Ross (sponsored by 21 Wellbeing, The Hope and Anchor, Prontos Pizza Kebab and HP Scaffolding) showed maturity and composure to see out the game.

Meanwhile it was unlucky 13 for Ross Ladies’ Herefordshire League hosts Ledbury the same afternoon, as the table-topping visitors won 13-1.
Hannah Jenkins fired a magnificent seven for the Ross Health & Fitness, Kings Accountancy and Scaffolding 2000-sponsored team, backed by four from Anna Craig and goals from Danie Page Ward and Immie Stephens.
Juniors Women visit Wellington this Sunday (October 19), while the Ladies travel to Westfields, both in the Herefordshire Cup.
