The Ross Juniors Ladies section held a barbecue and presentation night at the Ross Sports Centre last week.

A fantastic season culminated in the number of players growing, weekly training and regular games.

Jodie Williams from Herefordshire FA presented the awards and the award winners were: Best Newcomer was shared between Beth Cole and Megan Dunn; Most Improved was Lynette Cutter; Players’ Player was Ellie Cook and Manager’s Player was Nicola Richardson-Wall.

Beth Cole commented:?“I only started a few months back and I am overwhelmed to receive this award. Everyone has made me welcome and the coaching is exceptional.”

Lynette Cutter said:?“For once I am lost for words other than to say what a great terrific team sprit we have between us all.”

Team captain Nicola Richardson-Wall added:?“Absolutely brilliant season, I would recommend anyone to join us. The training sessions are innovative and inspiring.”
