After another good season the Ross Juniors Mens side, who play at the Sports Centre in Ross-on-Wye, won promotion into North Gloucestershire Division 2. They came runners up to Division 3 winners Milkwall, who only lost one game all season.

Manager Jaime Jones said the lads played well and have worked hard with the players who have been available on match days. After unluckily losing to Milkwall first time around they knew this was the team to catch to win the league. But Ross had a couple more losses before meeting Milkwall again so it was looking as if promotion was unlikely. However, they succeeded with two games to spare after other results went their way.

Jaime told the Gazette, “Back to back promotions and a cup win in two seasons is some achievement.”
