Every Thursday, from 7-8pm, up to 16 Walking Football players train at John Kyrle High School on the all weather surface.

Walking Football is a variant of football that is aimed at keeping people over 50 active and involved with football. Ross Juniors FC has had a Walking Football section for several years now, with committed regular members who enjoy training and the social aspects.

Alongside the training, games are played on an ad hoc basis, the Ross team recently competed in the Bobby Moore Festival in Hereford, against other teams from around the County.

The team is now looking for a few more members, so that it can enter a more formal league.

If you have played football previously and want to get back into it, or just want a healthy social activity, please contact Ron Goulding on 01989 750546 for more details. The first training session is free.
