Ross Juniors FC is pleased to announce that it has passed the Football Association’s Charter Standard Health Check once again. The club had to pass a very rigorous process to achieve this award and it confirms that Ross Juniors FC continues to deliver the highest standard of football in the community.

Being an FA Community Club means that Ross Juniors is among the country’s best, as there are very few in existence, and as a Charter Standard, Community Club Ross Juniors represent the very best in grassroots football. The accreditation certifies that the club upholds values that appeal to players, coaches, officials and supporters. It demonstrates that the club offers a place where everyone can enjoy football.

Vice Chair Vanda Nixon was jubilant. She told the Ross Gazette: “The club has put a lot of hard work in to achieve this accolade. On behalf of the club I would like to thank everyone involved in this fantastic club in making football safe, fun and inclusive for all. It shows that we’re committed to delivering the best possible experience for everyone concerned in making football enjoyable.”

Manager of the Under 15 boys, Marl Fletcher added: “I’ve been involved with Ross Juniors for 10 years and it goes from strength to strength, this is why I want to be part of it. A massive thanks to all concerned there are a lot of unsung heroes in this club.”
