An exciting evening was recently held to celebrate Ross Juniors FC Ladies successful season winning the Herefordshire Women’s Development League and to present the end of season awards.

The most improved player went to defender Kate Beddis who excitedly commented: “It’s phenomenal to be voted the most improved player. I’m absolutely delighted, it’s a huge honour to win this award.”

Louise Rowberry-Wall received the players’ player of the year and added: “It’s absolutely sensational to win this award from my teammates. I couldn’t have won this without them in this great team, so I’d like to thank everyone of them, I’m so thrilled.”

The coaches’ player of the year was Beth Cole who was overwhelmed but did comment: “It’s awesome to receive the bosses award. I’ve been given an opportunely in the team to develop and progress as a player and as a person. I can’t wait to get going again soon.”

The team is looking forward to some exciting friendly matches coming up over the next few weeks and training takes place every Friday at 6pm at the Sports Centre in Ross. Many social events are organised during the year as well.
