Ross Juniors U10s entertained Leominster on Saturday, February 1st in a great game of football.

Both sides played some good stuff but in contrasting styles, as Leominster tried to use the wind to their advantage by playing direct whilst Ross tried to play out from the back with their strong passing game.

The first goal came after a wonderful save from the Leominster goalkeeper saw the ball fall invitingly at the feet of Ollie J to pounce for Ross’ opener.

Leominster soon hit back however with a well-taken goal, but the Ross defence of Jack, Ollie S and Yash were solid at the back and even after a mistake kept trying to play the correct way.

Noah B was rewarded for a hard shift upfront with a good goal, with Deividas and Tristan unlucky not to score from some great chances and Harry put in a selfless performance, never moaning despite being asked to play out of position.

Ross stamped their authority on the game in the second half and won the match late on when Noah S scored an absolute screamer to seal a deserved win.
