Ross Juniors U9s travelled from Ross-on-Wye to Belmont on Saturday, September 21st on a gloriously sunny morning, which the club hope won’t be the last warm day of the year.

Once again, they got off to a great start with Timmy scoring his first ever league goal, thumping a great strike from distance past the Belmont keeper in the opening minute. Belmont responded immediately and went close to equalising from a corner when a misplaced clearance struck the Ross post, hit a defender and almost crossed the line until Euan got his hands on the ball.
