Ross Juniors were delighted to find out on Wednesday, January 23rd, that they have been successful and the FA have approved their SSE Wildcats Centre for girls’ football for a second year.

A spokesperson for Ross Juniors said: “The last one was brilliant, over 38 girls joined us, most now playing for our teams. We even created two new teams because we had had so many girls. We held a Wildcats festival, played matches against other Wildcat centres, watched Birmingham City Women’s and got to be mascots as well.

Aimed at girls aged 5-11 years old who are new to the game, the Wildcats programme is a lot of fun and a great introduction to the beautiful game.”

The programme will start in April, and will take place on Thursday evenings between 6pm and 7pm. More details to follow.
