Hereford Scrumpy Boys over 50s walking football team have played their counterparts from Ross-on-Wye on several occasions during the past few weeks.

In the first game, a tightly fought contest saw Ross come out as 1-0 winners with the winning goal coming from Rob Pendleton. Rob is a Hereford player who played for Ross in this game due to them being a player short.

In the re-match the following week, Hereford overcame a strong start by Ross to come out the winners with a 4-0 victory, courtesy of goals from the in-form Rob Pendleton, Mark Catlin, Martin Brooks and Andy Jones.

Hereford recently reached the semi-finals of the FA Peoples’ Cup, and are due to play their first round game in the National Cup in the next few weeks.
