Ross showed their patriotic spirit by cheering on England in the World Cup Quarter Finals on Saturday, July 7th. England played Sweden, winning 2-0.
Football fans, cricketers and guests of the Country Music Festival gathered at the Sports Centre in Ross-on-Wye, to watch the exciting match.
The Lea Village Fete and Goodrich Fete both changed their times on Saturday, and families watched the match in the school halls.
Lots of the pubs were very busy, filled with excited football fans. They are expecting an even busier turnout for Wednesday’s Semi-Final match against Croatia at 7pm.
