ROSS Under-12s junior girls’ football team has received a welcome boost after securing sponsorship from local businesses SRA Building Ltd and M Schranz Plastering. The new backing will provide the team with fresh kits for the upcoming 2025/26 season.

Next season will see the Ross girls competing in the top division of the Gloucestershire Girls County League, stepping up to the 11-a-side format for the first time. This marks an important stage in their development as a team.

The club is currently on the lookout for new players to strengthen the squad ahead of the new campaign. With the move to the larger 11-a-side game, Ross U12s are keen to attract more local girls to get involved in football and enjoy the benefits of team sport.

Coach Martin Beard expressed his optimism that the sponsorship and the team’s progression would inspire more girls to join and take up football in the area. He hopes the new season will be an exciting time for both current players and newcomers eager to get involved.

Anyone interested in joining Ross U12s junior girls’ team is encouraged to get in touch and find out more about how to get involved.
