The Bulls fell to a frustrating defeat at Aggborough in the well-played New Year’s Day match against Kidderminster. Despite strong play, the Hereford side left with a loss.

Hereford took the lead by the time the match had reached 19 minutes, when Roberts fired home from six-yards out. This came after the Bulls had been awarded an indirect free kick following a back-pass inside the box by the opposition.

However, Hereford only managed to hold onto the lead for about 60 seconds, with Chambers bundling the ball home at the back post to level for the higher placed home side.

Harriers were then reduced to 10 men ten minutes before half time, with Ryan Johnson given his marching orders for a late challenge on Tom Owen-Evans. With scores level at the break, both sides were committed to scoring the next goal, and there were hopes of a positive result for The Bulls.

However, moments into the second period, Declan Weeks fired an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the Hereford net. The Bulls continued to play strongly, but couldn’t manage to overtake the hosts’ lead.

They huffed and puffed but failed to profit from the extra man on the pitch, and there was little to cause Hall in the Harrier’s goal too much to worry about.
