Ross Juniors U12 Colts travelled to Westfields in Hereford on the morning of Sunday, September 22nd for their third game of the season.

Having started with a win and a loss, the Ross-on-Wye boys were determined to get back to winning ways and started strongly, putting the home team under pressure and forcing a series of corners.

Alex swung in an inviting corner which Chris attacked and powerfully headed Ross into an early lead. Ross controlled the game well, creating lots of chances, and were unlucky to concede a goal when a Westfields shot took a big deflection.

With no substitutes available, the boys were glad of the half time break, if a little disappointed to be going in at 1-1.

The pattern, of Ross going ahead and Westfields pushing forward continued, but the Ross boys showed great determination and Kyle was able to complete his hat trick giving Ross a well deserved 5-2 win.
