Fownhope FC's management committee agreed to offer their unreserved support to Hereford United Supporters Trust, at their Annual General Meeting on Sunday.

HUST announced last week that it will poll its members on a boycott of Hereford United. The boycott would be on all activities of the club including home matches, merchandise, and sponsorship. Fownhope FC?tweeted their support on Monday and said: "We would like to place an offer on the table of a friendly fixture between our 1st team and the newly formed HUST/Local consortium run club, as and when a team is formed, with the funds being raised going towards the running of the club."

In their attempts to stabilise following relegation from the Conference beleagured Hereford United were hit with further set backs last week when Herefordshire Council announced that all matches at Edgar Street will be postponed until further notice following safety certification talks. The proposed Help for Heroes match on Sunday (July 6th) and the friendly with Cardiff City Football Club on Saturday July 12th have been postponed.
