ROSS Golf Club’s annual Eclectic Cup package, which attracts members from all sections to weekly nine holes of late afternoon/early evening competitive golf every Tuesday throughout the Spring and Summer, continues to thrive with Nigel Yates driving the 2018 campaign.

Across the next 24 weeks from March to September, members have the opportunity to emerge as one of the finalists from the four sessions of six weeks each, to take part in an end of season Cup Final played over 18 holes of stableford golf.

David Higdon was the unlucky losing finalist in the 2017 competition, won narrowly by Tim Kefalas, and in week one of the 2018 Session One, played recently by 24 members over the club’s front nine holes, David signalled his intention to be in the mix again.

In week two, with 31 members taking on the back nine holes, Antony Graham, with 24 points, was the stand-out player, with Michael Williams in second place and Ally Watkins in third spot, both with 21 points.
