Ross Golf Club’s forthcoming Annual Knock-out Finals Day and Presentation evening represents the finale for many members to make their 2016 season one to remember.

Certainly 16-year-old Junior member Cam Haines, currently a 5 handicapper already has a great deal to celebrate after recently winning, by one shot, the Bristol Juniors Open where he enjoyed an impressive gross 74 round.

Being part of the Gloucestershire County’s Jeff Hall Competition enables Cam to compete in the qualifying stages of the prestigious Daily Telegraph BMW sponsored National Junior Golf Championship. The finals take place in Portugal later this year.

Cam is a regular Junior County player, selected in both Under 16s and under 18s squads, and his record in eight matches played to date shows a remarkable seven wins and a halved match.

At the Ross Club’s Finals Day, Cam will take his place in the Bob Beavis Knock-Out Final for Juniors, and another star County player, 2014 winner Brad Knapper, who plays off a 6 handicap, awaits him. Cam will be aiming to get his name on the Trophy having been losing finalist in 2015.
