THE Senior Captain’s "Drive In" attracted an entry of 50 members for the Greensome Stableford competition.

The winning pair Mike Proctor & Mike Bain scored 37pts, and Jon Davies & John Harper were runners up with 34pts followed by Richard Hammett & David Houghton in third place on count back with 33pts.

The event raised £502 for the captain’s charity Headway.

South Herefordshire’s seniors match against Nauton Downs was a close encounter. The visiting team eventually winning 4.5 to 3.5.
