Members of Ross Golf Club’s Men’s Seniors (55+) section have been in great form of late with pride of place earned by four handicapper, Steve Wallbank, after a strong contingent from the Ross Club competed in the County Seniors Annual Championship held at Burghill Valley GC.

With their course immaculately prepared and Herefordshire’s finest Seniors basking in the strong sunshine, gusting winds and quick greens made scoring difficult. However, Steve managed to improve on his second place finish in this event last year to take the title with a gross 76 medal score to win quite convincingly by three shots from runner-up, Andy Smart, of Kington Golf Club.See the full story in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here
