The South Herefordshire Golf Club Winter Florida Scramble finals’ day was well supported, despite the weather. The 48 participants faced the elements in a very competitive manner. The course, thanks to the green staff and management, played exceptionally well.

The winning trio were Jeremy Parkes, Mike Proctor and Mike Bourne, and the runners up John Tecke, Mike Bishop and John Arrowsmith.

The singles winter winner was Roger Barnes who defeated Brian Carver on the first extra hole. Jim Delahay and Ashley Letts were victorious, 3&2, over Phil Andrews and Roy Pipe in the pairs final. The referees report that the matches were played in an excellent spirt and the morning concluded with an excellent lunch.
