The Goodrich Ball Team Bashers bag a win at Kempsey in the H & W Division 5 West, on a chilly yet sunny Sunday morning.

The Goodrich number one pair of Cath Hutchinson and Kim Martin started the ball rolling with a two set highly competitive win over the Kempsey ’B’ first pair, whilst the second pair of Kirsten Ainsworth and Jill Brown narrowly lost out in three sets to the Kempsey ’B’ second pair. In the second round, Cath and Kim notched up another straight sets win, whilst Kirsten and Jill got to grips with the tarmac courts and came out winners, again in three sets. A good beginning to the season from the Bashers, putting them in third place after their first match.
