Goodrich Ladies B team travelled to Bodenham and braved the howling gale and blustery rain showers to secure a fine 3 - 1 win. They narrowly missed out on a clean sweep with a tie-break third set on Sunday, March 19th.

Kim Martin and Kirsten Ainsworth won both their rubbers without conceding a set, whilst Carolyn Riddell and Sue Harley stormed through their first match with a straight set victory and narrowly lost out in a third set tie break in the second rubber.

A very fine performance in challenging conditions and this victory ensures the team’s future next Winter in Division 5, with a match still to play. Well done the ladies!
