It was a hat-trick of wins for Goodrich Ladies on Sunday, 18th November, when three of their four teams were in action. Both the ‘C’hasers and ‘D’yanamos, in Divisions 5 and 6 West of the H & W Winter Leagues respectively, had fun as they played competitive games away to Hallow’s ‘B’ and ‘C’ teams.

The ‘C’hasers first pairing of Kim Martin and Katie Hunt won their first rubber 6-2 / 6-3, and their second rubber even more convincingly, 6-0 / 6-0. Meanwhile second pair, Jill Brown and Carolyn Riddell, won their first rubber 6-2 / 6-0, but had more of a battle on their hands in the second rubber, losing the first set 2-6, then winning the second set 6-2, but Hallow came back strong in the third set to take it 1-6.
