Thirteen brave John Kyrle Gym members took part in one of the ‘Toughest Cross Country races’- The Mud Runner Classic, on Sunday, October 18th.
The race is set at Eastnor Castle estate and it takes in the tracks of the Land Rover testing and experience centre. So there is a lot of slippery banks, muscle cooling streams and standing water to negotiate your way through.
Luckily there hasn’t been a lot of rain this year, so the mud wasn’t as slippery compared to previous years. However, the course was a lot more clay like, which meant it made it more likely that the athletes would lose their trainers
