Ross Juniors Sunday beat Roebuck 3-1 on a bitterly cold day and bumpy pitch. After last week's fantastic performance they had to battle hard against a gutsy team. Both sides found it hard in the opening exchanges but Ross gradually pinned Roebuck back into their own half as they dominated possession.
The breakthrough came in the 21st minute with a stunning goal. Andrew Densely worked the ball across the 18 yard box and it fell nicely for advancing Carl Roberts who rifled the ball home sweetly from 32 yards with his left foot into the roof of the net that gave the goalie no chance.
Ross continued to dominate and it was no surprise that they made it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Again midfielder Andrew Densley was involved, picking out Chris Davies on the left, he played the ball into the six yard box for striker Eli Wooding, who had plenty of time to place the ball into the back of the net.
