Taekwondo expert, 16-year-old Keiron Lowley is on top of the world this week after being crowned World Champion.

The Hereford College student, who is studying for his A levels, lives in St Owen's Cross and attends the Taekwondo club at the Larruperz Centre.

On Sunday, March 9th he competed in the Professional Unification of Martial Arts (PUMA) World Taekwondo Championships in Swindon. He competed in the cadet (14-17 yrs) age group in the red belt section in both Patterns and Sparring. In the Patterns he became World Champion, whilst in the sparring he finished second.
