Luke Jones, local motorbike racer, had a successful weekend at Snetterton 300 Race Circuit, riding with the No Limits Club.
Friday was a practice, which went well with no problems. Saturday was qualifying in the morning for grid positions in the races to follow.
In race one, which took place on Saturday afternoon, Luke had a good start, but due to a fuel problem with his bike, he had to pull in.
His second race was a three hour endurance race, run with three riders in each team. Luke’s team included Phil Bevan and David Hall. There were 24 teams taking part, and Luke’s team came in first place.
Luke came second in both races on Sunday which were run over ten laps.
It was a good test for luke and the bike, before the first of the British Superbike Championship Rounds, which take place over the Easter weekend at Donnington Park.
