Luke Jones was racing at Thruxton, Wiltshire in the North Glos Club Meeting at the weekend.

He was riding his Yamaha 600 in both the 600 open class and the unlimited. The meeting started with qualifying for the 600 class, in which Luke finished first and on pole for the race over eight laps, which Luke went on to win.

His second race was the unlimited over nine laps.

Due to Luke’s late entry he started the race from the back of the grid, which had 45 riders.

Luke rode well and went through the field to finish fourth, just missing out on third place by a bike length.

Luke’s next meeting is at Brands Hatch, for the last meeting of the Biristh Championship Rounds, on October 13th, 14th and 15th.
