Last weekend Severn Valley Stages produced a mixed bag of results for local crews. The event, based in the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells, was a dual-permit event, with 80 historics leading the way, this being the latest round of the WWRS RAC championship and Dennis Motorsport Welsh historic series, with a further 35 crews in the modern event, this being a round of the Mintex Welsh championship. Eight stages lay ahead in the forests of Crychan, Halfway, and Cefn making up the 45 competitive miles with two loops of four stages interspersed with a mid-day service in the Showground.
