A new social netball league will start in Ross-on-Wye in January 2018, on Tuesday evenings.
Leagues4you is a fun and friendly sports league provider, with an aim of getting people back into sport regardless of their age, experience or ability.
Their netball leagues are perfect for ladies of 14 years upwards who may have played netball at school, want to have some quality “ME” time, are looking to make new friends, get fit or just want a bit more netball in their lives. Whatever the reason, their leagues are perfect for everyone and are totally hassle free. They organise the venue, supply all the kit and provide an umpire so all you have to do is decide what to wear and bring a drink.
The charges are simple and affordable, with a match fee of £30 per team. There are no other costs involved and you pay as you play, so no upfront payments.
They plan to run a refresher session at the new Ross-on-Wye venue at John Kyrle High School on January 6th from 8-9:30pm, where they will be going over the rules, teaming people up and playing mini matches – ideal for those wanting to brush up on the rules of the game or those not yet in a team.
They are inviting people to register their interest free of charge as a team or an individual by emailing: [email protected].
At the end of each season, the league winners are awarded with a stunning trophy and bespoke medals, as well as the Player of the Season receiving a T-shirt to wear with pride.
They find that the leagues work great for boosting confidence and for ladies who may suffer with things like anxiety, as there is no pressure and the leagues host a wide range of ages and abilities, making them perfect for everyone.
