After five weeks off Howle Hill made a return to action away to Woolaston in the league and came away with a 4 - 1 win. It was a cold afternoon with the wind blowing across the pitch but Hill started the brighter with Phin Parsons almost scoring in the first minute after good work from Lee Edwards but the shot went just over the bar.
Hill did take the lead soon after when they attacked down the left, played the ball to Hatch who shot from outside the box and the keeper just watched it sail into the top corner. Woolaston came back into the game and the back four of Walters, McAfee, Williams and Davies kept them from even managing a shot at keeper Cooke. Howle Hill's wide men of Francis and O'Brien were starting to dominate down the flanks and it was the pace of O'Brien that sent Hill two up as he beat his marker and crossed for Hatch to tap in his 15th of the season off the stud of his boot.
