With Greytree still water logged, both Ross teams were unable to play at home on Saturday, however Ross 2nds were able to get an away game against Berry Hill 3rds and were victorious 13 points to 41. The first half was a close affair, Ross took the lead via a Casey Morgan penalty and No 8 Gavin Oates scored their first try from some good forward play. Berry Hill got themselves on the score sheet with a penalty and try of their own but Ross responded when 2nd row Ollie Floyd picked the ball up at the back of the scrum and broke through two tackles to score. Fly-half Tom Fuller converted. Ross started the second half the dominant side. A further Gavin Oates try, one from Flanker Casey Morgan and one from Centre Dan Field surged Ross ahead. Try of the match came from Gareth Holdsworth who tore through the Berry Hill defence from the halfway line to score under the posts.

Outside centre Pete Jarvis and wingers Guy Pearson and Billy Hambling also went close for Ross and full back Jordan Marshall was always a threat with ball in hand and his lightening pace. Ross were able to make some changes throughout the game, bringing on the fresh legs of youngster Mike Haile for his debut on the wing and Nick Stevens into the heart of the pack. The Antony Haile Electrics man of the match was Billy Hambling, whose inter play with Jordan Marshall was a constant thorn in the Berry Hill Side. This week Ross 2nds are away to Bromyard in a merit table league game, whilst the 1sts are at home to Bristol side Cotham Park, 2.30 kick off.
